Control of energy costs and sustainable treatment are complementary goals for NEFCO-designed facilities. While drying facilities have traditionally used fossil fuels such as NG, propane or fuel oil to remove water from mechanically dewatered solids, NEFCO has designed systems that maximize the use of available renewable energy resources. The use of alternative fuels has reduced the carbon footprint of NEFCO facilities and reduces their environmental impact.
