Although we will miss him greatly, NEFCO is pleased to announce that Rick Twigg is retiring in September to pursue exciting opportunities. Rick is the Plant Manager in Cumberland, Maryland and he will leave this year after having been with NEFCO for 11 years – as long as the Cumberland Plant has been a part of NEFCO!
“As you know I am saddened but excited about retirement, I have made so many friends if only by email and phone conversations that will be missed going forward…the biggest thing I hope to enjoy is being able to do what I want to do when I want to. Wake up drink a cup of coffee and then decide what I want to do†said Rick when asked about retiring.
Rick plans to go north and visit with the associates that have been so helpful and supportive to him over the years and thank them in person. During his retirement years he plans on being able to spend more quality time with his family, grand children, get projects completed around the house, and get some traveling in.
Rick is opening another chapter of his life by coaching softball at Allegany College of Maryland…“being retired will allow me the time to do the recruiting aspect of the game which is such a vital part of the process and be there for the players and coaching staff.”
We wish Rick Twigg all the best as he moves on to his next chapter!
